ShopRunner Brings “Free” 2-Day Shipping To BRU, TRU, More

If you have ever used Amazon's Prime shipping option, you probably fell in love with it like I did when I had a free trial.  It is a 2-day shipping option on any order from Amazon – no minimum.  The catch is that you have to pay $79 each year to subscribe to it.  I'm not sure it's worth $79 per  year when I mainly use it only at Christmas time.  There is a new site I recently heard about and wanted to share – ShopRunner. It has the same concept, same price, but includes a lot of popular stores, not just one.  I think ShopRunner sounds interesting, and I might sign up for the 30 days trial to use this holiday season.  If it's a success, I'll post my thoughts on it.  If you decide to use it, please let me know your thoughts, too!  (Thanks, Baby Cheapskate!)

 

 

I'm fascinated by ShopRunner. It's a brand-new service you sign up for ($79 a year  after a 30-day free trial) and get free 2-day shipping with no minimum purchase at various merchants including Toys R Us, BabiesrUs, RueLaLa, Baby Universe, etc.  The $79 comes to $6.58 at month (the same price as Amazon Prime). If you regularly pay more than per month in total for shipping at any ShopRunner partners, it seems like a money-saver. Returns are free with ShopRunner, too. I just signed up for a free trial so I can check it out. At the very least, the free trial should save me some money on holiday shipping.
